Fexofenadine HCl is an active ingredient compound which belongs to the class of a histamine H1-receptor antagonist which helpful in the treatment of many allergic symptoms. It physically appears as a white to off-white crystalline powder which is highly soluble in methanol and ethanol with a decrease in the solubility in case of chloroform and water. Fexofenadine HCl is selective for the H1 receptor which readily bind to off-targets that contribute to side effects such as sedation. The boiling point of this compound is 697.3 degree Celsius and a melting point in between the range 148 to 150 degree Celsius.
